Neil het die sementfabriek on 15h15 bereik en slaap vanaand in Robertson oor. Sy gasheer, Koos le Roux sal hom moreoggend weer by die sementfabriek aflaai waarvandaan hy tot op Robertson sal stap.

MOWERS STASIE
Die volgende verhaaltjie handel oor die buitengewone ligging van bogenoemde stasie.
Die destydse Suid Afrikaanse Spoorwee (SAS&H) het verskeie ambagsmanne gekonrakteer langs die Worcester - Mosselbaai treinroete om nuwe stasies te bou. Die bou-kontrakteur het slegs bouplanne, materiaal en arbeiders gekry en daarna was hulle oppad.
Die meeste stasies was op afgelee plekke en daarom is die kontrakteurs vooraf betaal. Een van die stasies onder bespreking is Mowers Stasie.
Na verloop van tyd is daar navraag gedoen aangaande die bou-proses aangesien daar niks terugvoering gegee is nie. Tog het die bouer almal verseker die bouwerk verloop volgens skedule. Na verloop van nog 'n paar weke, doen SAS&H weer navraag.
Hierdie keer raak die bouer ontsteld, hy het almal dan verseker dat die projek byna voltooi is. Hy nooi al die verantwoordelike persone om by die oorhandiging van die projek teenwoordig te wees.
Skielik klaar verwaring aangaande die aanwysings na die nuwe stasie op toe die bouer versigtig verneem of almal die roete ken. Die bouer was ongeveer 100 km van die beplande stasie se merk af.
Mowers het nooit begin funksioneer nie en die oorspronklike Mowers is nooit gebou nie.
In die 90's is die R60 (N15) opgegradeer en hierdie stasie wat "van die merk af gebou is", word vir die eerste keer in gebruik geneem.
Vandag is daar slegs ruîines van die stasiegebou oor.
Mowers Station
The story about this unusual location for a Railway Station is said as follows:
When the South African Railways (SAR) commissioned several railway stations along the Worcester / Mosselbay rail section. The builders got given the names of the locations and off they went, plans, building material, labourers and all. Since many of the stations where in far off places, payment was done in advance. Well, this one was to be at Mowers… and after some time SAR inquired about the building process, since nothing happened, yet the builder confirmed all was on track. SAR gave him some more time and weeks later enquired again since no structure got off the ground. This time the builder got very upset, after all he was just about finished, so he invited the responsible people to the site to hand over the project. Confusion cleared quickly when he cautiously asked them if they knew the directions to their new station… The builder got the wrong Mowers and was several 100km off the mark for the planned station. Mowers never got into service nor was the original Mowers ever build… when in the 90’s the R60 (N15) got up graded, the contractors made use of the buildings for the first time. Today this station lies in ruins again.
